I have been a painter all my life and lived in Sussex for more than fifty years. My paintings are found by wandering – I have no map – finding a hay-filled barn, or sheltering on a grey day with rain in its face – the last light as the sun slips behind the horizon, a wealden farm in November sunshine.
My work has been purchased by the Arts Council of Great Britain, the Universities of London, Leeds, Leicester, and Newcastle, the Department of the Environment, National Library of Wales, Worthing Museum and Art Gallery.
